Goodmorning all.
Hope you have all had a good weekend and have managed to resist the chocolate.
I know we are a day late this week but as its the start of our new summer challenge I dont suppose it makes any difference.
We have 15 weeks until the Monday weigh in before August Bank holiday, so that is a good length of time to get stuck in.
Some of you may still have a weigh in this week, so just go ahead as usual.

grannylin you have had the best excuse, dont rush in and do yourself damage take it easy, how are you?
Thanks
Will go back to swimming regularly when we get back + of course lots of gardening. Since we moved here to the mountains, we've wanted to cycle, but honestly it is too much up and down! So we've just bought some electric bikes, which we can use with very little 'extra assistance' on the flat, or with more help when going up a steep hill. Can't wait
Hoping to lose what I've put on again + about a stone extra- and get into a comfortable size 16. Skinny just would NOT suit me now.
I'm staying quiet this week but will seriously start on Monday to lose half a stone.Hadn't realised how much I miss exercise and really admire anyone with mobility probs. trying to lose weight.Time to stop the excuses!
granjura life does not stop when you are watching your weight, its all about balance. have a good day when you can and treat yourself when the opportunity arises, life is for living not watching your diet.
I look forward to seeing you when you get back
have fun.
Least said the better - with all our recent visits and visitors - will start again in earnest when we get back from our next visit to the UK (where we just must have at least one good curry, a traditional pub Sunday lunch, a cream tea with proper scones and clotted cream- and a few nice dinners at friends'... 2.5 kg up since Christmas (but still 2 stones less than when we moved here just 4 years ago) (:
celeb see you can do it
and eat a little choc
Well glass we I'd share an egg me and oh sole asked bought smaller size trousers today! Now lost 15 half pounds just over stone! Can't believe it never one this well!
celeb well done you managed to resist the chocolate.
New challenge 3lb 3oz
1lb and half off! Pleased with the Easter goodies! Next weigh in wed.
glamma the new challenge was our group total loss as a group for this week, I am not expecting to to have to do that,
although the way you are going 1lb 10 is less than you have lost this week.
glass I seem to have gotten over the bingey bit to-day and have just chopped up carrots and plucked (yes plucked) some grapes from the bunch to snack on during the day.Should be ok with new challenge thanks.x
Hi glamma well done another 2lb you are doing so well, you dont want it to come off any quicker as thats when you have problems with loose flesh, doing it 1 to 2lbs per week keeps things steady and does not take from your muscles only the fat disappears.
Have a look at the little things you can have in the fridge to keep those nibbles at bay, even have a syned treat which might stop you feel the need to binge, sometimes having something you fancy can keep you on the straight and narrow.
New challenge 1lb 10oz
Hi glass good morning to you, this weeks loss is 2lb I thought it may have been a wee bit better as I have upped the walking but maybe those treats at the week-end where my downfall.
I am having a few wobbles though and had to go out for a walk in order to stop my self from snacking, and I wasn't hungry just needed to binge a bit,is this normal behaviour for a grown woman
mrs hat its the weather its got us all down in the dumps, and makes youi nibble... new challenge started so nose to the grindstone and it will soon be off.
New challenge - 4ozs
Hi - sorry but last week passed me by and I never posted. I wish this week had passed me by as well. This morning I discovered I have gained 1.5lbs!!!! so back up to 13st 1.5lbs. SOOOO disappointed and yes, angry with myself. Why am I finding it so hard this time? Enough moaning, positive thinking and less eating/drinking
jane after all that walking you need something substantial
Glass you should have seen what I ate for lunch today.
Went walking with my old school friend up Ridley Common, back round to Willemotteswick and finished up at the Railway Inn at Haydon Bridge......salmon fishcakes and chips + plum crumble and custard
However still full so not having any dinner - perhaps it will balance out [hopeful emoticon]

Was hoping you would forget this week Glass so that I wouldn't have to admit to yet another grand loss of 0.2lb!
What is it about 0.2 of a pound? This is the second week in a row!
I keep saying to myself that I will be able to get out for more exercise when that dastardly cold wind goes back to where it belongs and take the sleety rain and hail with it!
The temptations of Easter are now gone so now excuses from now on! Perhaps I could lose 0.6 of a pound this week which would make a pound over 3 weeks?
Good luck everyone this week especially poor Galen - each week it is just a figure and I can almost hear your 'sigh of despair' - how I can relate to that
I get weighed fri oh dear have eaten way too many easter treats!
Git friend coming for lunch today w watchers quiche and salad fish tonight get back on track! Got lot goodies left over from having son and stepsons yest!
I've just popped in to say hi and to let you know that I don't get weighed until Thursday am so don't think I have forgotten.
I did have a couple of blip's over the week-end but hoping to have lost or at the worst maintained.
Good morning everyone. I've just read that the wind will change from easterlies to westerlies from next week, so hopefully, we'll all get some warmer weather.
Posting early as I'll have 2 grandsons here between 9am & 7pm, so I'm girding my loins!
I've stayed the same this week, but I had a few small indulgences over the Easter weekend, so I'm happy to have maintained.
Really looking forward to the new challenge....just a pound a week loss will be a stone by August Bank Holiday. We can do it ladies!!!
