Did you look it up Grannyknot? Went to day as soon as I walked the woman who was 'in charge' today immediately said Hi T asked how I was now, how was DH - and checked on me several times to see how I was progressing after a couple of months away due to ill health. It is a lovely personal touch and they do look after you.

It sounds great! I do like to work hard when I exercise. I looked up my local one when you first posted, unfortunately it is 20 miles away, such a pity. I hope you enjoy getting back into it.

Curves is a nationwide gym for ladies only. No Men No mirrors, no lycra is their mantra. It is a circuit of around 10 pieces of hydraulically powered equipment where you do 30 seconds on each for two circuits with a stepping board inbetween to keep heart rate up. It is very well monitored and the staff know every one by name and take a personal interest in them. I love it. 30 minutes of workout 3 x a week to built strength and cardio vascular strength. Look it up on line. It gives much more info and more accurate than I can give. curves.co.uk

What is Curves, please FOTW? Is it a form of exercise?

Have started back at my local Curves after two months on Medical Leave. Really enjoyed the workout, remembered why I go after a strenuous 30 mins and 5 minutes stretching. Back on Wed, Thurs and probably Friday.
This with our increasingly long walks should get me back in good form for the SKOMER STEPS!!! in June.
