Good morning folks, here is this weeks thread.... I will go back and sort the totals out for last week and put them on later this morning, hoping this week is calmer than last. grin

14stone I'm afraid.

I'd like to join this thread. I only have about 10lb to lose but that the difference between feeling comfortable in my clothes and wanting to cover up. Perhaps I shouldn't have had that croissant for breakfast.

Stayed the same - the hot weather forces me to eat ice cream...[guilty emoticon]

Ithink I've lost a tiny bit, but don't actually want to lose more at the moment as I want to tone up a bit first. Do hope I can keep this up.

I was weighed at WW last Thursday and lost 1lb - quite pleased. I do feel hungry sometimes though and apparently I'm not supposed to!!!

Tegan Mon 22-Jul-13 13:36:14

It mat be due to the warm weather but, since I cut bread out of my diet [yet again] I don't feel very hungry these days. I eat a very protein based meal when I get in from work and that seems to fill me for the rest of the day.

The road to hell and all that. Oh dear!

Struggling here to stop weight creeping up. It turned out that my recent weight loss was due to diabetes, and I am now on daily insulin, which is causing putting on weight.

Babs1952 Mon 22-Jul-13 19:02:32

Sorry to hear about your diabetes granjura .flowers

granjura Mon 22-Jul-13 19:18:04

Thanks Babs. Hopefully now it is under control, and I am on insulin as well as Metformin, I should be OK. Unfortunately since we moved away from UK, I've been so busy looking after my parents, then other close relatives, and was not as well cared for as I was under the wonderful NHS. Here in Switzerland, nobody looks after you, it is up to you to ensure you are looked after ... Sometimes people in UK do not realize just how fabulous the NHS can be, and is, still, in so many cases. In the UK I got an appointment every 6 months, and everything checked, and all medication, etc, FREE OF CHARGE. That just does not happen anywhere else in the world.

I shall have to work particularly hard to watch my diet and do even more physical activity.

Hurrah ( at last ) - this week went from 59.2 back to 58.7. It's only about 1lb , but it's back in the right direction again ( though you've heard that before haven't you ! ? ) Now if I can just stop the yo-yo-ing and head back downwards for another lb or two, ( and then stay there ) I will be really happy.

Seems to be some good results, I will be back later to read them all. On the way to the Discovery museum with DGS his friend and DGD, should have been rock pooling but the threat of thunder is more than the two boys can cope with. grin

Apparently it was really bad at the coast Glass. My DD was posting about it on FB at 5.00am! We heard nothing here in Ponteland.
Happy to report I have lost 400g this week, down to 62.9 smile

annodomini Wed 24-Jul-13 22:48:56

Having reported that I was still the same, today I have found that I have lost another 2 lbs. I'm off on my hols on Friday so will be living on fruit, French cheese and wine. Will try hard - honestly!

mrshat Thu 25-Jul-13 19:25:55

Down another half pound this week, now checking in at 12st 6.5oz. O to reach the 12 stone mark! grin

Just gone to buy some new scales, as ours have gone completely doolally. I weighed myself 4 times in a row this morning, with 3 kg difference between readings. Hope for the best.
