Glass no champagne just a bit more pinot grigio than normalgrin weight has now gone down again - DH gained weight too, and suspects that all the walking (16 miles in 2 days, a lot for us) perhaps made us retain water.

jane thats not a huge increase, did you celebrate with champagne for your anniversary? It might be a simple as that, or maybe retaining a little water.
grannyK dont you give a sigh of relief when the scales stay the same. smile
babs well done you are going to get into the dress no problem.

tegan not sure what to add your fraction as grin but even a fraction is going in the right direction. Are there any exercises you can do that are a little easier on your back?

Hi hileena welcome to Gn I have not seen you around. We all follow different plans, some are WW, a few of us do SW me included (but I have had a couple of weeks off), some just count calories and others do 5:2, some of us just cut back on portion size. How are you finding SW?

Hileena Thu 01-Aug-13 19:26:45

Are these all WW posts?
I've got myself back to SW and just wondered if anyone was following that. I've tried WW LOL

12st 6lbs. Another half pound gone - just in case you think I am being very sensible, I'm afraid it has more to do with a delicate tummy, still with me since my dose of food poisoning - still, ever cloud .............. grin

All good here ! Have stayed the same this week . Ok, it's not actually losing it , but it is sooooooooooooo much better than putting it on , that I am very cheerful about it .

Weighed at WW on Thursday evening and lost 2lb! I am pleased with that. I have a wedding to attend in Sept and the dress I wanted to wear just didn't fit anymore - I refuse to buy a new wardrobe - anyway it's slowly coming off now. I am hoping for slow but sure wink

I think I was down a fraction more this morning [but only a fraction]. Ate more than I should have over the weekend and was tired so didn't get any exercise [in fact think I was in my pyjamas from Friday night through till this morning] so I'm sure that going to the gym has speeded up my metabolism. Getting a few twinges here and there so a bit worried that my back isn't coping with the exercise but I'm going to carry on for four weeks and then I'll be having a holiday anyway.

glamma pleased you are managing to maintain at target, planning is the best tip you can give, I am always better when I have planned the week ahead, and shopped for the right things and not the tempting bits.
Looking forward to seeing your wedding outfit photos. smile
bez I think the warm weather does play havic with water retention. We get so little heat here our body dont quite know how to handle it.

Just popping in to say I'm still keeping it off, the warm weather has helped and being busy, the secret is planning meals which is something I hated doing but it really does work.smile

I have had a bad couple of weeks and despite not gorging myself managed to gain weight - very depressing. Last week I ate much less due to the heat, drank loads of water and still gained a pound. I came to the conclusion I was retaining fluid as my feet look a tad puffy. They are not so bad today and I have now started to go the right way on the scales and about a pound and a quarter down. Fingers crossed!!
