Just got up and weighed myself, lost 600g so down to 61.4kg, so that has put me in a good mood Trouble is we are going to Italy for a few days tomorrow so it will probay all go back on again!
Well, my weight is definately creeping up so I'm going to the gym again today [went yesterday] and am just going to eat soup for a couple of days [made some chicken soup the other day]. Good job I joined the gym because I don't get the exercise I did at work [was on my feet the whole time] and the weather is too awful to go out [also dog isn't 100% so I'm not taking her for walks]. Have been eating cake and stuff like that for a while as well, so that's got to stop.
This is awful . Some days are fine and some days . like yesterday , are totally out of control. No idea what is happening. I am now back up at the highest weight I have been all year , and while that is only 3 lbs heavier than the lowest ( 58 kg) it really makes a difference to how I feel about things . Have kept my graphs up to date ( which makes me feel vaguely in control of the situation - hah!) and I have put on weight almost as many weeks as I have lost it this year , especially recently. Well , can only try harder I suppose . Help !
GrannyK; that's how I've been recently. Stick with it, you're not on your own. I don't think the weather helps. My resolve went yesterday when the phone rang as I was about to go to the gym, and it was then too late to go. Starting again today. I think our bodies do tell us to put on a few pounds when the nights draw in, even if we've already got enough weight on us to 'survive' the winter!
Well done jane Think you have lost 1/2 galen thats a great start. Fantastic babs you are doing so well. tegan its going to take you a couple of weeks to sort out your routine... but cake wont help grannyK I know how you feel but try to keep at it, as you say its not a great deal of fluctuation, try swopping some of the foods you eat maybe you are in a bit of a rut and your body knows what to expect and doesn't need to work too hard to kick in your metabolism.
I have had a terrible week, house is upside down decorating ready for the new carpets coming after the water damage, and the oven has conked out and we dont have a microwave ( well I do but DD wont have my lovely combination microwave on the bench..its too big ) so everything is either being cooked on the top or in the slow cooker, I have lost the plot. So I am not even going to get weighed this week, new start tomorrow.
Hello all. Don't know how but I managed to lose 3.5 lbs. May have put it all back on today by celebrating the loss!! lol I hope everyone has a good week.
Hi again. Gained half pound - now 12st 7.5lb. Fed up really but stress levels are sky high and I cope by too much food and too much . Hopefully will do better this week
