Well, I've been to the gym every day this week, and then walked the dog but got on the scales late last night and had a terrible shock. I knew I'd started to put weight on but not as much as I have shock. But I am eating well. Will be away for a while but intend to carry on with the daily visits to the gym when I get back. I've realised that I tend to eat badly when I do the school run as I eat leftover food etc [just as I did when my children were young].

Still at 12stone 2.5lbs. I just cannot seem to shift the last 2.5lbs to get to my now long standing target of 12 stone. The long term plan was to set another target of 11stone 7lbs but getting to 12 is taking SOOOO long I might just rest there awhile (if I ever get there).
Happy Easter one and all. grin

Hurrah! Exercise is obviously the answer. Have been rushing around dementedly chaperoning in the last week and although the eating has been erratic I have finally lost some weight . Fingers crossed that this has kickstarted some sensible eating habits , a reasonable amount of exercise in the week and a steady weight loss from now on ......

I've not been saying much on this thread for the last few weeks, because I'd been going through a phase of eating and eating JUNK! I just couldn't seem to help myself. I'd put on about 5 pounds in about 3 weeks shock. I have now calmed down, haven't weighed myself (think this has been part of the problem, because I was hopping on and off the scales all the time), but have been eating properly and feel SO much better. Ordinary food (which I calorie-counted for a few days) and now back onto the swing, and clothes are so much more comfy.
Good luck to you all! smile

I have been "maintaining" for the last couple of weeks and the weight is staying off so far. Just had a wardrobe clear out to stiffen my resolve. Some stuff is actually looking too big! I shall revert to the 5:2 if necessary as it has worked for me. Good luck to everyone - if I can do it anyone can! grin

I'm starting afresh too. Why is the first day always so damned hard?

Start again day; just tried on a couple of skirts I bought a few weeks ago; they were a bit tight then but are very tight now. Also only a couple of pairs of my jeans fit one of them being my very grubby gardening jeans]. Clothes I bought for a weding and trip tothe races don't fit very well either. Must pull myself together sad.
