There were no 'takers' for the thread last week shock!
Has anyone got anything to report?

I'm in denial....[goingfrom bad to worse I'm afraid]

Marelli Mon 13-Apr-15 18:21:18

I'm in that same place as you, Tegan (that Denial is one of those 'resorts' a bit like Blackpool....lots of folk go there, but maybe not too keen on being there!) grin

I am now 10St 3. I had just got the 9 showing (by quarter of a pound) before Easter.

Hopefully will remedy that soon, now all the nice stuff has gone. (Not counting the couple of little reduced-ies purchased this afternoon) shock hmm

I'm trying to tell myself I'm not eating enough. I've been sticking to 1200 calories (more or less wink).
So, IF I have a bit more to eat, perhaps I'll become nice and slim...
jingl, you know you can do it, because you've done it before. Do you feel you're within your recommended BMI? I'm quite tall, but by the look of things, I really do need to be an awful lot taller to be within MY recommended BMI grin!

I'm not at all sure that I am. I put my 'younger days' height in the box when finding my bmi. DD laughs at me because I have got shorter, so I am kidding myself. confused

Have been away for a month with no scales, so I didn't feel I could really check in.
Amazingly did manage to stay almost the same (ie did not put on the masses of weight I had feared),so now just trying to shed the slight extra (and the other extra bit that was there before I went away, of course!)

In other words, back to normal- I will be trying to post weekly to inspire myself .

I haven't been here for a while as was eating badly and put on a good few pounds. Back on track and wearing my Fitbit again.
For those of you with a Fitbit, I have just discovered the Blog, which has lots of good articles to inspire and support. I found it at the bottom of the page when I was entering my new weight (cos I lost 3 lbs this week - always lose lot at the beginning of healthier eating).

See you all next Monday - have a good weekend.

If yo yo dieting [a bit like bunjee jumping with a Mars Bar in one hand and a lettuce leaf in the other] was an Olympic sport I would be a Gold Medallist. My weight has now yo yo'd three times in the past two weeks. It's another start again day today as, having someone working on my house for a few days I've had to stay indoors and I've been going stir crazy.

No good this past week either - just heavier!! Routine starts again, properly, on Monday so hopefully I might shed a pound or two. So disheartening sad

Nanabelle, sounds as if you're back on track again, so good luck!
I wonder if it's really necessary to actually 'diet', though....can we not just cut down on what we eat? The word DIET makes me feel straight away that I'm going to be denying myself the food that I like. If we could just have a wee bit of what we fancy.....sad
I'm not really very good at running this thread, am I blush?
Oh well....we're all in it together, I suppose! Where have I heard that before hmm?
