From everything I have read and the programmes I have seen and there are many many its the 5:2 diet that seems to get the best results and reviews. We are doing SW again and it has its own version inbuilt 5:2 now so we are doing that e.g. 2 veggy days per week with no alcohol. Only just started so don't know how it will go. Also again from everything I have read meal replacement diets like Cambridge are not recommended for any length of time, they work out quite expensive and you might lack vital nutrients - very hard to stick to as well.

Did it years ago with bars and shakes but think real food in smaller portions is better. Have you tried 5:2?

Do you mean the Cambridge Diet?

Has anyone tried this? I have followed SW for a year (not really stuck to it this year so far) I have lost 2 stone and kept it off but keen to move out of this and lose final stone. Worried as I don't like the idea of digesting a bag if chemicals at every meal but wondering if its a good kick start?
