Been looking at exercises weight exercisers for over 60s.

Seems there are plenty of over 60s use weights for strengthening etc.

I'm not talking about the big dumbbells just smaller weights.

I’m so tempted to splash out and go all,out for proper weight training at local gym. I’m very osteo - arthritic and feel this with the walking I do would be perfect.

I have 2 500g dumbbells covered in rubber so they don't slip. Had them from Amazon weren't expensive. Plus a medium strength resist band. I go to a sit fit class once a week at my local church hall. Use my resist band there and use her weights ,we use our bands every week but not the weights. At home use my weights 3 times a week. My class costs £5 for an hour . Great bunch of women. I am the youngest at 64 oldest 90. Our instructor is in her 60's but she doesn't go easy on us. We do some exercises holding on to the back of the chair. Some use weights on their ankles for some exercises but I can't use them .

Used to go too a class run by my local council but they pulled the funding but do still run Active ageing classes 12 weeks free course sit fit class GP referral.
