NanKate you need to eat 3,500 cals per week than your body needs to lose 1lb. So everyone is different just depends on your life style . If you can exercise it helps your body burn cals. Walking is good but I read long time ago you burn more cals doing vigorous housework for 30 mins than a hours walking . If you think about it you move all parts of your body doing housework . When I vacuum I try and use a different hand so works both sides of my body. When you think about it you don't realise how much stretching you do just cleaning . Even ironing is exercise . Plus shopping involves moving all your body getting and carrying it . Even driving could be seen as exercise as you are moving your legs and arms all the time . Well thats my way of seeing the world 😁.
I still do my 7 exercises our instructor gave us beginning of the year plus my 300 rotations on static pedals before breakfast. Expect tomorrow I will be out at 7.15am to get too my new craft group and have lot of walking to do . Still do my 7 exercises though as they wake up my body ready for the day .
At sit fit it was circuit training which is always fun. And it gives us a chance to have a chat with whoever is your partner as we do it in pairs.
Put on 1.75 lbs this week . Be glad when I get to see my cardiologist. One of my sit fit friends has been put on water tablets and lost 1kg and her breathing has improved. She walked to class yesterday without stopping pre water tablet had to stop 3 times to catch her breath.
Got covid jab today and flu one Thursday. Then that's me covered for another year. At least if I do get covid it won't be as bad as without the jab . As I found out last year. My sister in law has had covid for the third time but said it was just like a bad cold this time but effected her MS but not as badly as last time she had it.
I helped take down our gel printing exhibition on Saturday at least it was quicker taking it down than putting it up. Lot of lovely comments in the book we left . I have stuck the 4 I framed to the side of my bookcase. It's over 30 years old and my daughter won't want my furniture after I die so thought why not.
NanKate you know you can do it like you always say it's not giving up that's important even if you had a bad day food wise.
Rambled on as usual. Have good week everyone. 😊
Why do restaurants and takeaways close so early now?
By special request, let’s discuss our favourite Classic Music and why?
Angela Rayner cleared by HMRC. What a coincidence!
