After losing 7st I am squidgy and flabby but I have embraced those bits as I would rather they be like that than tight with fat.
As I have said many times losing weight is a marathon not a sprint . I still want to lose just over a stone and have been trying to lose it for 2 years now. But if I lose, put on or stay the same I don't give up . I have been eating less for life as NanKate renamed dieting since 2017 and if it takes me years one day I will get to 11st. The important thing is don't give up if you have a bad day start again the next. I have become so obsessed with weight ,measuring every thing I eat and drink and count calories I even do it if I over eat . At least that way I know how much over I am.
You have to eat 3,500 less calories a week to lose 1lb. I found it easier to lose weight when I first started at over 19st than I do at just over 12st. But I am happy if I only lose quarter of a pound a week. I was size 32 now 14/16 top but like to wear 16 and 16 bottom.
Remember you are never to old to lose weight and measure yourself especially if you exercise. As mad as it sounds I started to exercise once I was 15.5 st and after a few months put weight on but stuck to my calorie allowance but had lost inches. Muscle weights more than fat.
Remember to be kind to yourself. I know foods I have no control over so don't buy them unless have visitors and know they will be eaten.
If losing weight was easy we would all be a size 12 but it's not. As I said main thing is not to give up and be kind to yourself. And love yourself.
