Hi basically I'm homeschooled (15 F) and I feel guilty bcuz I most times use AI for my school work. Everytime I get on an instruction slide I start understanding the easy stuff for maybe the first 5 or 6 slides then when more information comes there I find it rlly hard to just focus and Understand and from that I get a rlly bad headache.I wanna stop using AI but I would have to go through worse headaches than what I have now and idk what to do. And when assessments come I use AI as well and just thinking about how much I use of it rlly pisses me off so if anyone has good advice pls lmk

Can you get the same info from a book?
Use the book and the slides in conjunction?
This is often helpful.

It sounds like you are using a "system" if you have slides.
If so, which is it? Unless it's a very niche subject you can almost certainly find another.
Ask your parent/guardian to switch over to a different one? One that you are more comfortable with.

when assessments come I use AI as well you say...
...so maybe nobody knows you are struggling with this system?

If you were my daughter (we home educated too), I'd want to find something she would be happy with and would grow and learn with.

We had 5 children and they mainly had different materials and did different things.
There's a lot out there now... ask to learn in a different way.

(And you won't have AI available in exam conditions anyway if you go in to do GCSEs!)

Confess now that this isn't working for you. I think that's the best bet.
Good luck.

Very good wind up.

My advice is to go back to 1st grade and learn your punctuation and grammar.

This is Gransnet, not generally a forum aimed at the mid-teens.

Mumsnet might be more populated with current home-schooling parents than you’ll find here.

Your spelling mistakes aren't at all convincing, and let you down. They're not the spelling mistakes made by a typical 15 year old. Why bother? Nothing better to do?
