I'm not alone as I have Mr. S. but we spend Christmas just the two of, estranged from our youngest son and only GC with our other son in Aus. it's always a difficult time of the year.

Heartwrenched I hope some takes you up on your thoughtful offer. I am estranged from my son and my daughter doesn't like me to have Christmas day on my own. So I will be with them at their house or here.
I was widowed in 2004.

This is heartbreaking, Heartwrenched. I so wish you could just pop on over here for Christmas in the South Pacific - we'd love to have you! I do hope that something will work out for you. And there's always next Christmas (2022), when hopefully this hideous virus will have been sent packing.

Dear Heartwrenched , Oh Thank you so very much . I am divorced an live alone . An I am 56 an nearly 57 . An it’s very hard being Estranged from family . An l recently moved just before lockdown last year . An still don’t know many people here . An friend of mine bless used to spend Christmas with knew where l lived before . I would drive an pick her up as she never liked being alone at Xmas . Well sad she has gone into a care home has Dementia an only 55 . Must go an visit her . I will be fine alone Xmas . An thank you . Until someone has to cope alone they have no understanding of what it’s like . As I always say family will get their Karma one day . Luv Hilliy

I do hope you manage to find someone on here to share Christmas with Heartwrenched. It is a lovely idea. If not why not speak to your local Help the Aged or church to find a lonely person to share Christmas lunch with?
