Mothers day

Thank you everyone. I saw my lovely DGD too, she seems more grown up every time I see her and she is only five. She is the absolute light of my life.

I am the same. Beautiful flowers from my youngest son who cannot be here for another two weeks. We will be celebrating my birthday and Mother’s Day combined. My eldest son said he would call over later. BUT i am still estranged from my daughter and after 9 years of not getting a card for either Mother’s Day, my birthday or Christmas then I am not holding out any hope. BUT I too woke this morning and had a knot in my stomach followed by a good cry. Mother’s day is not magical for everyone. Love and hugs to all mothers especially those who are having to go through any sort of estrangement.
