😂
Yogin next time he revs his car/vehicle too noisily, start making notes and ring the council…
I know a few , they are getting on a bit but can still raise hell...or a car 🤣

Thanks so much ladies for your support, maybe I'll just show him these posts to give him a freight
I imagined paying some Hell's Angels to come round and have a 'word' with him, bet he wouldn't be so cocky then!
It rather makes me smile thinking of a gransnet mob dressed as Santa, elves, gnomes and reindeer and Mr Santa's, putting the nasty neighbours car on a sleigh and delivering it to the scrap yard🤣🎅🤶🧚🧛♀️👼👀!!
Babs yes, I’ll join a party to sort him out…
Or a river Smileless, a deep fast flowing one…
Night night everyone.
Well this all sounds like it could be a new plot for a Richard Osman novel! Maybe if we present the idea to him he’d give us some of the royalties to pay for Yogi’s drive! The car heist would of course have to happen on a Thursday 😊 but the introduction of a few more characters (Smiles, Babs etc) would go down rather well I think!
Oh I don't know Babs, what sort of camouflage did he have in mind? I'm sure I could rustle up a few elf costumes for us, but what will Mr. B. and Mr. S. wear?
Mr. S. thinks you're all great but I don't think he'd agree to dress up as an elf even for you lot
.
Oh dear Smiles I absolutely hate mobile phone shops, they are nearly always staffed by ridiculously young staff who know much more than we do about phones and tend to treat us as if we need everything explained in a loud voice and repeated ad nauseum.
Having said that they have always been polite with us but as you say it takes so long to sort everything out.
I absolutely agree that Mr S should get in on the act with regard to yogis dreadful neighbour and my Mr B says he will do his bit. Though I think his suggestion that they wear camouflage is rather OTT.
😂
I wonder if I can rope Mr. S. in to join us Whiff
.
Hello Spirulla and a very warm welcome to the support thread. I hope our plans to reek havoc on Yogin's rather unpleasant neighbour hasn't put you off.
We really are a warm, friendly, caring and supportive bunch whose estrangements have brought us together. It really does help to know that you are not alone, and to find online friends to share the laughter and the tears.
This is such a difficult time of the year for us all so I'm glad you've found us, and I hope that you'll feel you can 'barge'in whenever you want too.
I'll take a look on Amazon Sparkly and see if we can buy a wheel clamp on line. Maybe we could pinch borrow a forklift truck and put his car somewhere where it can't cause any more trouble. I was thinking a car wrecking place might be an idea
.
Honestly ladies, you're getting me into all sorts of trouble and I've tried so hard to be good for Father Christmas this year, just ask Mr. S.
.
Now we no longer have a landline, we decided to change my mobile from 'pay as you go' as it will be cheaper and more convenient. We were in the vodafone shop for an hour and a half and were both beginning to lose the will to live!!!
When we were eventually sorted, there was another long wait at the building society to transfer some money to DS in Aus. for Christmas. Maybe it's an age thing but I just don't seem to have as much patience as I used too, but I did manage to wait until we'd left both premises before expressing my frustration.
Babs that is also called a Georgie facelift ,also a Brummie one . Mind you Yogin a Glasgow kiss would sort him out just need some one the same high and heavier than him with a hard head. 😂
@Sparkly can we borrow your fierce face when going to sort out Yogis neighbour??
😂
Afternoon folks, how is everyone?
Can you buy a wheel clamp on Amazon, Smiles?
Lol.
Welcome to the new estrangees.
My sister got bullied badly at school here in Wales. Her form tutor who was a formidable woman and a sheep farmer as well as teaching biology, sorted it out. She said to me “ they won’t be bothering her again”.
My son got bullied where we lived in London. Almost every other week he got mugged. He told me that he felt safe when out with me, travelling on buses etc, because I “always had a fierce face on when out”.
And he was 5 ft 11 inches, I was 5 foot 4. Poor thing.

Oh yes please GNetters, he'd get a shock with us all out there

I saw a video of a guy blocking an entrance to some industrial area workshop, the guys inside came out, got a forklift truck, scooped up the car and placed it on a nearby shipping containerI did ask my son if he could do the same when dickheads caravan was still there. How funny would that be
@Yogi The best thing would be to give his car a Liverpudlian face lift, as in take off the tyres and replace with bricks, though that might not be a politically correct thing to say these days, Liverpool has become a city of culture.
But anyway that wouldn’t solve anything cos his car would then be stuck over your driveway.
A crane moving it elsewhere is the best bet 😂
Spirulla Welcome, this is the best place to come for help and guidance or just to off load your thoughts and hurt feelings.
Don't worry you don't have to join the pose` of Gnetters getting fired up to confront my rotten neighbour

Allsorts His driveway is listed on the council site, mine is not, so I can be given a ticket but can't give one back. I looked into having mine listed but it's so expensive; £300 to apply, £300 for the inspection team to come down who may or may not give the go ahead and then more than £3000 in total if it was allowed, that is without a professional driveway being put in. A guy from the the Highways phoned me, we spoke for about half an hour and he reackoned there was a high possibilty it would not be granted as he thought they would want my side of the road to stay with bays for all to park in. So that would mean £600 to get a "No".
I am still liasing with the highways and this morning emailed to ask them to get rid of the H bar that runs from his property over to mine as I believe dickhead still thinks with the H bar still there [caravan sold] he is still king of the parking bay! I'm a dog with a bone too
I said ' if you came home one day and your neighbour had an H bar put over your property from his and then he told you, you can't park over or on your driveway anymore, would you think, like me, this can't be right!
Smiles Yes you would think that once you left school that would be the end of bullying. I had it in work at one time, was really friendly with one girl, we had lunch together, had a couple of nights out together. She managed to pursued me to get my haircut, I went to Vidal Sasson and had a perdi cut, it looked great. After the haircut my 'friend' then told me how much her H loved my hair and was always commenting on it
. I was only 19yrs and she about 25yrs. She then just gave me an unpleasant time of it at work till I left.
And then my neighbour is a big bully! So, they are always creeping around somewhere!
Spirulla it took me months of sending Smiles PMs before I was brave enough to post on the support thread. Unfortunately haven't shut up since.
Talk about whatever you want . Say as little or as much as you want . You will not be judged ,not believed , criticised in anyway . But listened to and given the support you need . Advice if you want it but the most important friendship as estrangement is a difficult to live with and it can happen to anyone.
Unfortunately we have been plagued with trolls and imposter posters but they have been seen off.
This is a strong thread with strong people here who go out of their way to welcome new people and help..
But the main thing is you are not
alone . So post when you feel you can. It's not a doom and gloom thread . We do talk about serious issues but also silly things . So I hope you feel at home here and protected .
@Spirulla,
Welcome to the thread.
You don’t have to tell anyone what happened, you don’t owe any of us explanations or reasons.
I have only been on this thread for a few months but has already helped me enormously.
🌺🙏🏾
Hello, I’m new and don’t want to barge in on established conversations but would be very grateful for support. I find it difficult to talk about what happened.
Maybe we should have a secret sign or handshake.
Not a problem Whiif, its a bit late for me also, and it's nice and dark at 10, see you there, well maybe, cos , we will have to wear a disguise!!!🫡
Unfortunately I can never stay awake until midnight. Can we make it 10pm should still be awake 🤣🤣🤣
