I bought a permit for about Ā£50 (looks a bit like a disabled persons āclockā card but red) from our district council. It lasts for 12 months. I bought it last Nov and I can park for up to 3 hours at any of our councils car parks.
It is brilliant. I reckon I have saved loads plus I donāt have to queue to use the machines. We are full up with holidaymakers and the queues for ticket machines are crazy.
