Yes I saw it jen I had problems trying to acess it from here it is a good site. When catering for a couple of hundred or less I use little plastic markers to specify if something has gluten, dairy, eggs etc in it. I sort of hope the vegetarians know what meat looks like grin.
I have some good helpers well mainly DD and a friend really as I cannot stand for any length of time.
I really enjoy doing vegan/vegetarian menus as I feel it stretches my repertoire.

It's a family party and my son and his girlfriend have just turned vegan after being vegetarian for years.

Lots of omni recipes can also be 'veganised' just by swapping in vegan butter/cheese/milk (you can find Violife cheese in Sainsbury's now, or Holland & Barrett if there's one near you, and there are plenty of dairy-free milks and butters about). The PETA website has lots of good recipes as well. As a fellow vegan, I'm sure they'll really appreciate you going to so much trouble for them - I know I'm always quite touched when someone does it for me. Good luck!

Oh, and if you're doing pud too, Jamie Oliver has some great vegan recipes www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/category/special-diets/vegan/.

I do not like Jamie Oliver, but I looked at his recipes from your link, Lucy, and I think the dim sum would be perfect, particularly as one of the comment was that they can be frozen, then steamed from frozen.

Also, I can't remember who said life's too short to stuff a mushroom, but they are the perfect finger food when stuffed with a nut roast mixture.
