What have you baked this week?

I've just done my DGS's birthday cake (seeing him tomorrow). He asked for chocolate and it's a plain one because he's having his 'proper cake' (superhero) at his party next weekend. wink
I also did scones yesterday when a friend came round and although strictly not baking have also made this delicious raw cherry and chocolate fudge. Anyone else baking mad since the weather changed?

I have baked two big apple pies,apples all home done and my own pastry made! They both went to my daughter and family,we did get a piece.
I'm making scones tomorrow for us I think....

Yesterday i made two pots of raspberry jam from raspberries i had frozen in the summer, i had a huge crop in the garden this year and froze some of them. Also i made tuna and cheese plait . I must admit i used ready made puff pastry, not sure if it counts as really baking!!! lol.

I have just made and left to cool the dough for a trial run of Gingerdead Men as I have a new cutter. If they turn out all right I shall make and bag up some more for the local children on Hallowe'en. I have already bought some packs of sweets, drinks etc for the purpose, but have started dipping into them myself blush!
