When I feel bad, I like drink some hot ginger tea to warm my body up, the ginger is a good medicine. I have ever heard the ginger coke, but I never try it. Do you like something made of ginger? What ginger drink have you drunk? brew

Cawston do a lovely apple and ginger juice. Virgin trains used to serve it in First Class, and when lucky enough to have First Class seats it was my favourite. Otherwise, it's Fentimans ginger beer for me.

Dh loves all things ginger and his usual day time drink if Belvoir Ginger cordial, he has a cup of Green Tea with ginger at bedtime. Strangely I think both of these are vile but love ginger biscuits and ginger cake. Mary Berry's Treacle and Ginger traybake is lovely.

MY BIL is a redhead and gamely enjoys ginger jokes even posing for us outside a bar called Ginger whilst pointing to his head.

Rochester Ginger is something I've discovered only recently. It's a bit like ginger wine but non-alcoholic. It's quite strongly flavoured so it can take a bit of dilution, and mixes well with some fruit juices or to give a kick to non-alcoholic punch, etc. You can get it in health food shops such as Holland and Barratt.

Great stuff for when you've got a cold, mixed with some hot water and a splash of lemon juice or cordial. I find ginger good for any sort of wheeeziness or chestiness. Ginger and lemon teabags are a quick fix for this too.

em123 I love the flavour of ginger... cakes and biscuits etc. I've recently been trying lots of ginger drinks but they've all been too sweet for my liking. I would love to know of one that isn't too sugary, (alchoholic or non-alchoholic).
