Chicken safe 3rd day?

Roasted chicken Saturday night to eat Saturday and Sunday. change of plans. So lots left in fridge Would it be safe to eat tomorrow. Or bin? I'm with bin. DH thinks its fine. thanks.

We do have to remember that bugs like salmonella and listeria don't make food look different or smell bad. Food that is still fresh can still cause serious illnesses if it's not handled properly, but there are lots of sensible tips on this in the above posts.

I still eat a Sunday roasted chicken on a Tuesday and here I am typing this message! I might even eat it on the Wednesday (I'm still here!) but would probably bin it, if I ever found there was some left on a Thursday.
