What are you all having to eat tonight? I cook every evening and have been getting bored with the usual meals. Tonight, I've made a Chicken Jambalaya - it's a Hello Fresh recipe I had ages ago, but I bought all the ingredients and have adapted it a bit.

I've made a carrot cake for afters.... with cream grin

Haddock goujons and veggies.

Slow cooker chicken curry with some air fried chips. We’re trying to make sure we use stuff in the fridge before it hits the best before date, so this is using up chicken, peppers, onion and tomatoes plus store cupboard spices.

Fish cakes, mash, peas. Followed by a yoghurt mix of mine with banana, sultanas and a tiny meringue.

lemongrove Fri 08-Jan-21 21:56:16

How tiny?

lemongrove Fri 08-Jan-21 21:57:39

I love meringues ( and am not allowed them) envy

Pasta sauce and garlic bread out of the freezer, with spaghetti and salad.
My freezer drawers are starting to look considerably emptier! Might be able to condense 2 into 1 soon. Yesterday I found some smoked haddock I’d forgotten about. So that will make a lovely Cullen Skink (?) cum chowder type dinner soon.

Our meringues were a bit bigger than 50p piece Lemongrove. Yum.

Jaxjacky Sat 09-Jan-21 17:27:32

Leftover curry from earlier in the week for DH, jacket potatoe and Tuna for me. NY resolution not to freeze bits of stuff.
