What are you all having to eat tonight? I cook every evening and have been getting bored with the usual meals. Tonight, I've made a Chicken Jambalaya - it's a Hello Fresh recipe I had ages ago, but I bought all the ingredients and have adapted it a bit.

I've made a carrot cake for afters.... with cream grin

Lemon broccoli and smoked salmon linguine with vanilla ice cream with hot salted caramel sauce drizzled over it! Accompanied by a bottle of Sancerre - I’ve been dry and low carb all week so this is my reward ?

Annsixty-never tried the baby parsnips, but now you’ve mentioned them, I’ve added them to tomorrow’s list!?

Different meals here tonight as my husband dislikes fish, other than in batter. So he’s having some Tesco chicken, bacon and pasta dish, I’m having smoked haddock with broccoli, cauliflower and peas.

Roast chicken, roast potatoes and parsnips, probably with peas and carrots and lots of proper gravy.
Possibly an Eve’s pudding if I can be bothered later, since our fruit and veg box contained Granny Smith’s (again) and I’m not keen, but they go nicely in a pud.

ginny Sat 13-Mar-21 10:23:35

Sausage cassoulet tonight.

Half a crispy duck, ready to shove in the oven, comes with with Chinese style pancakes and hoisin sauce - will add cucumber and spring onion.
I don’t often buy one of these but they’re exceedingly tasty.

Readi;g what you’ll both be having Witzend and Whitewave is making me feel very hungry. They both sound delish.
I’ll be having left over Chilli con carne with a baked potato.
Grapes and orange segments after.
