What's everyone having for dinner?

Lasagne (at half time ?) with a green salad and a large glass of red wine. All we need now is a goal or two!

We're having several yummy veggie curries from the Mowgli cookbook. I tried to make puris but they were a bit of a disaster. Worked the first time but never since!

Chicken stir fry courtesy of DH. Ye gods but it’s spicy. ?Drinking lots of water to spare his feelings or he possibly has a well thought out plan to keep me quiet during whatever tonight’s viewing is. ?

Odds and sods - have various things in small pots in the fridge!

Penne with roasted peppers, ham, and a bit of crumbled feta ... and white wine, because it's Thursday.

Butcher’s Faggots, chips, peas and carrots. Strawberries and Greek yogurt.
We got the faggots when we decided a trip out was needed . A walk was out of the question as it’s rained all day. Instead we went in the car to a garden centre with a deli/butcher’s/bakers inside.

I've had a piece of braising steak today, with mash and new pots and sliced carrots, very enjoyable it was too. An apple for afters.

We've had fish pie, made by DH, followed by a satsuma.

Thai style egg fried rice with a few bits of leftover roast chicken thrown in, plus a medley of stir fried veggies.,

Minted lamb and feta burgers, sweet potato fries and salad.

Escalope of chicken, green beans, salad, macaroon.

Stuffed and roasted chicken. I'm in the shielded group so all my food gets delivered. I'd ordered a small one, got a large one as a sub (presumably no medium ones available) and it is ginormous. My freezer is rammed with food,I've eaten a leg and a wing and some stuffing, so heavens know where I'm going to put it all.#firstworldproblem.

I burned the rolls in the toaster and have had to light the wax melts to get rid of the stench...

Today was chicken and bacon risotto. Fruit and yogurt after.

Homemade sourdough pizza topped with chorizo and the usual tomato and mozzarella ?

Left over Shepherds Pie from a large leg of lamb intended for the family gathering that didn’t happen at Easter. Had roast lamb, cold lamb then shepherds pie and still enough to put two containers of minced lamb in the freezer.

You can have too much of a good thing!

Egg and chips for DH. Beans on toast for me. Not great but we're using up what we've got and defrosting the freezer to make room for a Tesco delivery on Wednesday.

Unlike a previous occasion, when Mr P couldn't get leeks, so bought a cauliflower instead.

We do eat other things, lamb rogan josh tomorrow, with some sugar snap peas added because somebody bought them, because there was no asparagus which I wanted to go with the lamb chops and mashed potatoes planned for that evening.

I had a dig around in the freezer and found something I made earlier.
Bolognaise sauce, with jacket potato for DH and spaghetti for me.

Aubergine lasagne - homemade. Cherries and yoghurt.

I am making Spaghetti Carbonara and I'll have a glass of white wine whilst preparing it, chef's prerogative.

Chicken breast with Boursin cheese, wrapped in bacon, new potatoes and charred broccoli.

It should have been chicken topped with mozzarella and a tomato sauce but the mozzarella was out of date and very withered so I binned it!

Vegetable lentil pasta bake topped with Red Leicester cheese.
