Oh I would love to try Liquorice Ice Cream, that sounds divine!
Other than that my downfall is salted Caramel Ice cream, Lindor Truffles or cake wise Yorkshire Parkin which I haven't had for years now living down south!
cupaffull.. Totally in agreement. Cadbury's chocolate has been ruined by the Americans. I've long stopped buying it. Disgusting stuff. Which is a real shame as whenever I used to have it I would remember my dad always saying to me as a little girl, when spending my pocket money, "always buy good chocolate, always buy Cadbury's". ? My fave chocs are salted caramel anything, custard tarts, chocolate toffees.
Don’t they still sell Ritter Sports at motorway service stations? They always used to be by the tills. Mind you, it’s quite some time since I was at a service station.
Cadbury’s isn’t what it was, but I’m still partial to a sickly creme egg or six. I have embarrassingly unsophisticated taste buds and to me a single square of plain chocolate is way too worthy to be a treat.
Cake and chocolate. I love a good jam donut, and coffee and walnut cake. It’s Cadbury’s chocolate for me, but I do like hotel chocolate as well. Actually there’s not much chocolate I don’t like.
Yes I love Ritter sport yogurt, Lidl sell it at Christmas, can’t find it otherwise. Also M & S Eccles cakes, and Greggs donuts, and anything else sweet unfortunately ?
I've treated myself to a tin of Quality Street for Christmas. I like Cadbury chocolate as you say the recipe has changed they can't leave anything alone. If it's not broke don't fix it. Like Nescafé lattee sachets.
Divine fair trade muscovado white chocolate, or any Divine chocolate. The fair trade premium makes a big difference to cocoa farmers in Ghana. I was fortunate to be able to visit the cocoa farm where they grow the cocoa for Divine chocolate when I went on a Traidcraft tour a couple of years ago. Sweet treat and doing some good too. Please only buy Fair trade chocolate.
Cadburys Crunchie chocolate. Not the bar, but the dairy milk slab with Crunchie bits in it. Oh and pavlova. I'm making one for Xmas Day as don't make myself one very often so it is always a treat.
To blow my own trumpet, I make a really delicious lemon curd ice cream & I really love it. I'm also a big chocolate fan, I'm not particularly discriminating & will eat Lidl's 30p dark chocolate bars, Seed & Bean's slighted salted, Hotel Chocolat's anything at all...basically anything chocolatey!
