My all time favourite treat is a Tunnocks caramel wafer biscuit! Oh the lovely chocolate and chewy sensation of the wafer inside -heavenly!

Oh my goodness my mouth is watering as I read all your lovely sweet treat favourites! Really cheered me up- someone should start a thread about favourite savouries.

I'm another one who just LOVES anything with chocolate and nuts - preferably dark chocolate!

The Big Purple One and the Green Triangle from Quality Street are always sneaked out of the tin, before it's offered around wink blush.

Anybody else off to search the cupboards for sugary treats now?

Sadly, I think I’m down to the leftover Hallowe’en Haribos. grin

Used to love the original Cadbury's Dairy Milk & mini eggs. I never buy anything made by Cadbury anymore. My solitary protest to what they've done to what used to be the absolute best chocolate!

The quality street Purple One. Not forgetting Sticky Toffee Pudding and Caramel Ice Cream

Trillo’s of Whitby do a fabulous liquorice and blackcurrant ice cream. Nearly, but not quite, as addictive as their local rival Pacitto’s wonderful lemon tops.

Hagen Das salted caramel ice cream. It's divine.
Milk chocolate ginger.
Liquorice and mint Allsorts.

Has anyone tried Ritter chocolate? I think it’s German. Cheapest by far in Lidl, lost of different flavours. Rum and raisin probably favourite. I think Cadbury’s, which I used to love before they sold out, just tastes of lard. Love whole cherry liqueur chocolates in dark chocolate. Good truffles, preferably boozy. Stop me now.

Love Ritter. Marzipan in dark chocolate ....lovely. All their stuff is though.

Same here Grannmarie, but they have shrunk to half the size they used to be.

Alison333 Sat 14-Nov-20 10:53:39

Cadbury's Double Deckers - Tesco do a multi-pack of smaller versions so I can tell myself I'm not actually eating a whole bar of chocolate!

Eaton mess, Chocolate Brazil’s, cheesecake.x

I have no idea, why Ferrero don't sell their MonCherie here in uk. My absolute favourite is Rum & Raisin marzipan, from Lidl, or Rum and Pineapple. Niederegger very expensive now.
Was given a box of Cadbury's Milk Tray recently, inedible, I'm afraid, too sweet and slimy.

Ahh liquorice ice cream. I discovered it in Denmark where liquorice is incredibly popular - whole aisles of liquorice based sweets in supermarkets there. I was in Thirsk 3 years ago and there was an ice cream parlour selling it.

GreyKnitter Sat 14-Nov-20 10:28:49

Liquorice ice cream! Very difficult to get hold of but once I’d tried it I was hooked. My husband tried to make me some for my birthday once. A valiant effort but not the same as the bought stuff! Mmmmmm yummy. ??

I’m not bothered about sweets , cakes or biscuits but if I had to eat a sweet it would be a Topic .

However, I could happily eat my body weight in Waitrose Coffee Ice Cream ? mmmmm

Lindt in red wrapper . Mint thins from Aldi .chocolate nuts and raisins . Wish I didn't like any.

Theoddbird Sat 14-Nov-20 10:20:39

I don't have a sweet tooth at all. Peanut butter on a rice cake is as sweet as it gets for me...hahaha

Saxifrage Sat 14-Nov-20 10:20:01
