Around 6/7pm after we watch The Chase , usually a cooked meal I have prepared in the afternoon.

Brekkie- cereal and tea at 8.00 am
Lunch- usually something like couple of boiled eggs with mug of tea at midday
Mug of coffee, piece of fruit (satsuma or Apple) about 3 pm
Tea - main meal of the day between 5 - 5.30 pm.
Green tea at 7.15 - 7.30

I am working really hard at getting off my lockdown weight gain, not easy when you get older and cannot exercise. So, am really trying to keep calories reasonably low.

Have managed to lose about three quarters of a stone since mid-January, but it gets harder and harder as time goes on. I am giving myself another five weeks to reach the weight I would be happy to live with - although even that will still put me into the Overweight category on the charts.

1730/1800. I'm into the habit of the 8/16 regime and love it. When lunching is 'allowed' I don't have an evening meal.

Dinner at 7 pm, used to be because I would eat whilst watching Emmerdale. Now it is irrelevant with on-demand or recording but I have stuck to 7 pm.

Lunch 1pm and dinner 5pm

Nannina Thu 04-Mar-21 10:43:08

Main meal is tea whenever I’m hungry-usually between 5 &6pm. Exception is Sunday dinner about 2pm which sees us through to Monday morning. Since retiring and especially during pandemic I’ve sometimes cooked main meal mid afternoon so combining dinner and tea which I might make the permanent option

Anywhere between 5.30 and 7.30, depends what we have been doing in the day and how hungry we are, suppose 6.30 generally.

GrammarGrandma Thu 04-Mar-21 10:52:03

7pm and we call it dinner. Lunch is at 1pm. They can be moveable feasts but that's the time we aim for most days.

Gwenisgreat1 Thu 04-Mar-21 10:52:37

5.30pm - DH gets worried if it's late, we refer to it as tea, though it's really dinner!!

Eva3 Thu 04-Mar-21 10:54:39

Dear Iam64 - I loved your accidental typo - humours with your meal sounds great. Made me smile!

Riggie Thu 04-Mar-21 10:54:55

Big breakfast
No lunch
Last meal at 4pm

jenni123 Thu 04-Mar-21 11:11:00

I eat when i am hungry, sometimes I have had my mail meal at 4.30pm other times it's 6pm, occasionally later than this. I live alone so only have myself to please. I guess it would be different if I had someone else to cater for.

TrendyNannie6 Thu 04-Mar-21 11:13:20

When ever we want it, no fixed time

AlpineGranny Thu 04-Mar-21 11:16:49

Supper at 7.30ish. I used to like eating much later but no longer!

sweetcakes Thu 04-Mar-21 11:22:14

Lunch is between 1 and 2 light lunch.
Tea for me is between 3 and 4 but only if I've skipped lunch.
Dinner is between 6 and 7.
Supper very rarely.
