No turkeys for Easter, what has happened?

I know most people have roast lamb for Easter Sunday lunch, and that is probably more traditional, but we had always had turkey. I have been onto every supermarket website and there isn't a whole roast turkey to be had anywhere! The only ones I could find were fresh ones from speciality butchers costing an incredible amount per kilo.

Has anyone seen one in their local supermarket recently?

The turkeys realised their mistake when they voted for Christmas and so voted against Easter.

Our's must have missed out on that vote as we bought a turkey crown today in Tesco's.

Ditto our Morrison’s today - crowns, whole fresh turkeys aplenty. We’re having lamb, though.
