Cheese and tomatoes on toast for me, soon.
Better than my predictive texts suggestion of cheese and tomatoes on toads!

Pan fried sea bass with sauté potatoes and a mix of steamed vegetables, first picking of forced rhubarb from allotment with vanilla ice cream, followed by 4 little squares of chocolate!

Home made shepherd’s pie, sautéed spring cabbage and peas.

We had a curried kedgeree, made with smoked haddock. First time I’ve made it for ages - nice and quick and easy.

pulled pork in baguettes, with salad

School dinner mince - at least that’s what I call it - just made a big batch, but it’s only about 50% mince - a lot of finely diced veg and red lentils added.
One of dh’s favourites - we’ll have it with boiled potatoes and sprouts.

Tuna pasta. Had a lovely day involving afternoon tea by the river so not hungry but want something nourishing, if you know what I mean.

Takeaway curry for us. I gave Mr Dog two options (leek orzo or tomato gnocchi, fact fans), and he turned his nose up at both, so he was swiftly informed of the error of his ways, and has gone to get the curry grin.

Salmon with ginger and chillies and green beans, with lemon and herb rice. It was very tasty, but I’m already hungry again!

We had a large, very large, Cornish pasty. We ordered some from an online pasty shop in Cornwall.
We had half each with some veg and gravy.

I portioned a chicken up and rubbed with olive oil and jerk seasoning. I made mixed vegetable latkes spiced with garlic and chilli. I served it with a dip I made with cucumber and my fresh mint. This is our meal for two nights any left over a lunch for husband on Friday.

MissAdventure Wed 23-Mar-22 22:11:01

Jacket pot with beans and cherry tomatoes.
No cheese in the house, sadly.

Witzend Thu 24-Mar-22 17:30:11

It was going to be my signature ? ‘dustbin’ soup - various bits to use up - but then I was in Sainsbury’s this morning and picked up a crispy half duck with Chinese pancakes, yum. It’s been quite a while since we had that.
We’ll have the dustbin soup tomorrow.

Doodledog Thu 24-Mar-22 17:42:06

We (me, my son and DIL) are having meatballs in Swedish sauce, and Mr Dog is having the sauce with veggie sausages.

We are all having air-fried chips, if I can work the Ninja ?

Cabbie21 Thu 24-Mar-22 18:37:53

Cauli cheese, though cauli upsets me so I substitute broccoli. DH likes boiled potatoes. I put carrots in mine.

Spanish chicken with vegetable rice

JaneJudge Fri 25-Mar-22 18:33:06

I've done a tray bake of baby potatoes, green beans, carrots, onions, celery, garlic and parsley in a chicken stock and white wine with chicken thighs chucked on top

it is always a winner and so easy smile
