I really felt like that tonight (very busy day) but contrived something simple anyway.

One of my mum's neighbours once asked her husband what he wanted for his tea He said "Just some toast and 2 or3 baked beans". She gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him 3!

Sorry to go against the grain but I love to cook for my DH. I grant you not every day in the week
but especially love a roast Sunday lunch, usually eaten in the evening with a large glass of vino. One of life's pleasures, food and wine.

Went on holiday for a week with a male friend whose boyfriend was out of the country on business. He was used to providing a cooked meal every evening and I had no input. It was peculiar not having any idea or choice of evening meal.

I keep meaning to cook double portions and freeze half - the days when I just have to heat something up are blissful and so productive because I can get on with other projects. But very often I forget, or I cook twice as much and it all gets eaten first time round, and now in the summer it's mainly salads which you can't freeze.

DH doesn't like eating the same thing twice in a row.

No good at downloading videos, but I have a brilliant one showing a conversation between a woman and her partner:
Him: what's for dinner?
Her: nothing
Him: we had that yesterday
Her: I know, I made enough for 2 days....
