Oh I love Tyrells vegetable crisps ..... I have to ask for them to be removed from being near me as I can't stop eating them ..... all the beetroot ones first!

when i was in my teens the 60's used to love oxo crisps, now i love tesco cheese and onion beats walkers any day

Pipers crisps for me. Locally made and delicious. They even do crisps with no salt on, just right for me. Although their wild thyme and rosemary are also very good.

Our local Morrisons sells Tayto crisps and a variety of Irish produce ,original Dairy Milk ,Soda bread and much more .All the things my OH loves when we visit Ireland just 5 minutes from home

I loved Golden Wonder crisps and still miss them.

Does anyone remember Golden Wonder crisps? I loved them and much nicer than Smiths crisps. Plus they were a penny cheaper at 3d a bag 😃

Oh yes I love Tayto crisps you can find them in B and M sometimes. Also M & S potato sticks very addictive. Walkers cheese and onion and bacon, too many favourites to mention 🤣 Anybody remember Castle crisps from the early 60s ?

I don’t like fancy flavoured or textured crisps and Aldi ready salted in a multipack are cheap and ideal for my taste.

We have Kettles and Pringles but also
Laytons which is US made. I only eat Salt and Vinegar crisps. Very Liverpool!

Years ago when we had a cinema in my town they sold Chipmunk Oxo crisps and they were really lovely.

I love Roysters also but they've gone up in price. But I like a cheese and onion crisp sandwich.
I only get fancy one's when I have friends round.

It is misleading until you notice that Tomato Ketchup is written in green on packet a d ready salted is just plain white. Thats all they think you need to notice the difference. My colour blind 10 year old had the same issue. Bought a 6 pack of what he thought was ready salted. Luckily it turns out when crushed they make a great alternative to breadcrumbs for nuggets or fish.

I find roasted nuts a good substitute for the tasty crunch of crisps. Although technically high in calories they are 'good' calories and have many health benefits. Research studies show that nut consumption does not lead to weight gain and are very beneficial.

I am a crisp enthusiast and would choose them over chocolate any time. I prefer ready salted and like Tyrells, Seabrooks, Walkers low salt or Sainsburys own brand. Aldi’s own brand low fat are good too and cheaper than all the others. If I was in the USA I would choose Lays over all the others.

My favourites were Walkers Worcester sauce, sadly unavailable now. I like Walkers Marmite crisps in a sandwich and cheese and onion crushed on top of a pizza.

I find Tyrells and Kettle crisps too hard for my delicate teeth. I like Walkers ready salted, but still think none taste as good as back in the days of the little blue bag of salt.

I've managed not to eat any sort of crisps since March 2021! I could several packets at one sitting and I'd put weight on during the lockdowns so decided thst the only way I could lose weight was yo cut out all crisps, nuts, cakes and biscuits and I've lost over 5 stones and I don't really miss the foods.

I love M and S ready salted ( 6 pack). Also M and S cheese tasters. Always buy 6 pack as would be tempted to eat too much of the larger pack. Tell myself that these savoury snacks are healthier than sweets, chocolate etc

dogsmother I did that, but only once. You'll look twice as I do from now on. What possessed Walkers to make both flavours the same colour?

Yuk! Not surprised you didnt like them. I'm currently into salted chip sticks and hula hoops

Love Pipers crisps but can rarely find them in supermarkets and even then no longer seem to have the plain variety.

Remember the days of Smiths crisps with a twist of blue paper of salt inside the bag! And Golden Wonder (I think) bringing out the first ‘flavour’ being cheese ‘n’ onion.

Poor you dogsmother with tomato flavour! I’ve never tried them but they don’t sound very nice!

And sometimes I was unfortunate and got a packet that didn't have that little blue paper twist with salt and had to eat my crisps unsalted!

I wouldn't care for tomato ketchup flavoured crisps either, btu they would probably teach me to take reading glasses with me and use them when I go shopping!

I like crisps, but don't buy them as I would eat them! I once read that if you ate a small packet of crisps every day for a year you would ingest for litres of oil, don't know if its true!

I can remember as a kid, eating a crisp that had, what I thought was a big air bubble, nope it was full of Oil.
Not a little oil but a significant amount, it was disgusting!
