What is for dinner today MK II

I was hosting a group this morning where mince pies and stolen were consumed. This was followed by an NWR Christmas lunch party. So this evening I just cooked a couple of butcher's sausages, green beans, mushrooms and tomatoes. Twas rather tasty.

Jamaican jerk chicken Caribbean spiced ribs rice and peas my DH requested it as it’s one of his favourite meals. As usual I made that much there is enough for tomorrow.

Lamb tagine with couscous.

Italian omelette (not a fritatta) with oven chips and salad. I've just helped at a Christmas party for 25 people living with dementia (and their carers!) so I'm not up to anything complicated. might be taken too.

Steamed fish with rice and peas. It’s a favourite of mine and easily digestible when I’m below par.

Thursday: 7th December ..

A French Tradition .. La Bouillabaisse ..

I’ve had a lovely big bowl of lentil and vegetable soup followed by a live Greek yoghurt.

Previously frozen, homemade sausage, red wine and balsamic casserole, mash with lots of butter and a splash of cream (because I had some open) and petit pois. It was just what I needed after a busy, emotionally draining day.

Braised beef and mushroom casserole, new potatoes and sprouts.

Butternut Squash and Sage Risotto. I didn't have any arborio rice, so used Orzo instead. It was lovely.

Wednesday the 6th of December.

A Spanish Classic Chickpea stew ..

Mushroom Soup and Ciabatta. But not home made. Very nice though!

Francesco´s Pizzeria ..

A highly remarkable tiny rustic ambiance and phenomenal pizza and Italian dishes.

Eating out today new local restaurant probably have pizza and side salad.

*Not the Mary Berry one. My rteay bakes rarely have nits in.

Sausage tray bake. Nit the Mary Berry one - this has cheese on the top towards the end of cooking.

Leftover casserole from yesterday which I shall add chilli to and make it into goulash.

Lamb chops, veg and mash.

Homemade prawn curry, with coconut, lime & coriander rice and homemade peshwari naan bread.
