I hope I am committing a sin by starting a new thread but the other one is full and I enjoy it and the photos
I popped to the cheap farm shop on the way home from work to buy dog food and vegetables so I have made a sausage casserole with jacket potatoes. I normally put the potatoes in the casserole (I know ) but there was no room as I bought a rather nice leek it smells delicious
Tagliatelle with carbonara sauce to which I added cooked mushrooms and pieces of cooked ham & a dash of sambucca for flavour added to the mushrooms as I cooked them. Really tasty it was too, but I must say RosiesMaw your egg and chips look delish 😋.
Yesterday's Boeuf Bourguignon with creamy mashed potatoes and vegetables. I made a large potful yesterday and some is now in the freezer too. It tasted even better today!
This evening we had lovely fresh perch baked with tomato, parsley, Herbs from Provençe, a drizzle of lemon, a drizzle of Extra virgin olive oil, a couple of garlic cloves, leek and placed aboard a bed of potatoes. Basque style.
We’ve cheated tonight and had a Chinese takeaway: Duck pancakes, lemon chicken and king prawns with ginger and spring onion, egg fried rice. Definitely naughty, but very nice 😅. Washed down with a very tasty NZ white wine.
Two lamb chops, roast potatoes ( all cooked in the Ninja airfrier) carrots, sprouts, mint jelly and gravy, with a small spoonful of wholegrain mustard.
A small half shoulder of lamb, which will be very well done, to get much of the fat off - with lots of roast potatoes, carrots, Savoy cabbage that needs using up, proper gravy and mint sauce. 😋 We should have had it yesterday, but there was an impromptu visit from a dd and 3 Gdcs and it wouldn’t really have been enough, not to mention not quite the Gdcs’ favourite, so I rustled up alternatives.
