Cubed in a cheese sauce with fried onions, mushrooms and a yellow pepper. Served with a jacket potato and green salad.

Calendargirl

Two weeks since Christmas.

Had it been in the fridge, or frozen?

The food safety police would be having kittens. (The ones who throw out a tea bag because it has ‘expired’).

In the fridge. Properly cooked*, gammon will keep well for at least as long as ours.
*on Christmas Eve.

Mines portioned up in the freezer, tightly wrapped in foil. My dgd loves it on toast with a poached egg on top. I eat it with salad.

Cubed, in a sort of hash with fried onions and potatoes, and a lot of spring greens, cooked and chopped up. V tasty.
We’d already had it cold with jackets and salad twice.

How did you do the last of yours?
