What will happen to me if I eat my cactus?

By bedtime tonight I’ll have eaten 13 today, think 30 a week will be a doddle.

We all know it means eat as wide a variety of foods of plant origin as you can (a) tolerate (b) afford and (c) obtain.
Same old story…the thirty year old plant with no name in the window sighs with relief 😮‍💨

And most people will ignore it and carry on as before.
New year, New slogan to bash us about the head with.

I told my GS about eating 30 plants a week and he went into my conservatory, where there are several plants and said "Be afraid, be very afraid".grin

Well, if spider plants are edible, I won't starve!

It includes herbs, spices, potatotes. we had a thread on this subject a couple of months back and the idea comes from Tim Spector, he of the Zoe scheme and microbiome publicist.

It is actually remarkabley easy to do. Several of us hit 30 plants in about 3 or 4 days.

Today at breakfast I had a hot llemon and honey, then an apple and a glass of pineapple juice = 3

For lunch a risotto contained onions, garlic, peppers, chilli, paprika, rice, with ratatouille, including tomatoes, aubergine peppers courgettes, onion, garlic followed by strawberries = 10

Supper will be tomatoes on toast, followed by fruit and a hot blackcurrant cordial before I go to bed =2
Total for the day = 15

That half the number for the week in one day.

😂 That made me laugh. Thanks RosiesMaw. Needed a chuckle. I will now go and check if my plants have left home.
