She booked into the Grand Hotel
Such a beautiful place to dwell
She stopped at the bar
And played her guitar
Until the landlord rang the bell.

"Time gentlemen, please!" he shouted

Time gentlemen, please! he shouted
Conceited Connie just pouted
She was a show off
Thought she was a toff
And decent manners she flouted

Of what I’m endowed

With what I’m endowed
She stripped down to knickers and bra

The lads they jumped on her bonnet
And started reciting a sonnet
Such learned young men
Should remember when
And how, to woo a young starlet.

My husband has called it a day
With a grin I said " hip hooray"
I`ll go out on the town
Ignoring his frown
And maybe I’ll just run away

But wait, does it need some more thought?
This may be a trap and I'm caught
'Tween rock and hard place
Cut nose to spite face?
My life could get even more fraught.
