I'm a vegetarian, so no. But I did used to like it, I like salt and fat!

Seeing as I eat low carb. Bacon and egg., no beans or black pudding or any of the ‘all day breakfast stuff ‘

Bleurgh! A stick of rock. I can put it in my pocket and give it to someone else!

Favourite fairground ride or game?

Ooh I could never stand the big dipper - terrified me. However I quite liked the dodgems and the ghost train! I loved fairgrounds as a kid but the shine wears off when you get older. They are too expensive now and too crowded.

Have you ever found anything valuable like money, a mobile phone etc?

I once found £300 under my seat on a train to York. I handed it in at the ticket office (it was a roll of loose bills) and they gave me a receipt. Told me that if after 5 months no one had come to claim it I could have it. No one ever claimed it. I donated £100 to some railway related charity and spent the rest on a slap-up meal for my sis and myself. Seems odd to lose money in that way - not even in a wallet or purse - and not miss it!

I assume you mean shoes Mollygo I've got all three. My 'go to' trainers are slip-ons with pretend laces, so comfy.

If your favourite TV or radio programme had a new host who you disliked, would you still watch it or would it put you off? I'm not specifically referring to Countdown as it is purely coincidence that this is the case.

I’d watch listen to it to see, then decide. I stopped watching Top Gear after seeing Flintoff doing his ‘need to be important’ bit, but I carried on watching Mastermind when John Humphrys took over and will probably do so now Clive? is.

Which sort of melon do you prefer?

Honeydew, watermelon makes me sick for days eating it, so I avoid it like the plague.

I dont have any children.

Do you enjoy sunbathing or avoid it?

I used to sunbathe a lot, having skin which tanned very quickly which my fair husband envied, he would be in the sun for hours to achieve what happened to me in half an hour. I don’t enjoy it so much now. My skin is drier so it doesn’t happen so quickly. 20 minutes is enough. I like it for the Vit D.

Do you think your place in the family affects your personality?
Eldest, youngest, middle or only child etc.

I'm an only. I think that it may have made me more introverted than I would have been if I'd had siblings.
Only children are supposed to be selfish, but I'm not at all.
In fact I'm probably generous to a fault.
I think that it may have made me less tolerant of others' annoying behaviour.

What have you bought that was a complete waste of money?

A potato ricer. Well DH wanted one. We don’t eat potatoes now so it gets in the way in the drawer.

What are you reading now?

"Now You See Her" by Heidi Perks. A sort of thriller about a missing child. On my Kindle. Next book will be "Three Hours" by Rosamund Lupton.

Audio book wise I'm switching between 'All in it together' by Alwyn Turner, and Matthew Dennison's biography of the Queen.

I'm not bothered by the sport, to answer your question. It makes people happy (on the whole!)

I'm reading The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby, written by a man who suffered a massive stroke and became paraplegic. It's quite a light read and not at all gloomy despite his terrible circumstances.

Before that it was Frederick Forsyth's The Day of the Jackal which was very involving and full of detail - I've not seen the film.

Do you play games on your mobile?

No the screen is too small for my 77 year old eyes - I play chess, scrabble and solitaire on the pc.

Do you have a good relationship with your siblings?

I have only one sister and our relationship is a distant one. When we were kids she was the "golden child" and I the black sheep. That never works out well.

I am the youngest of 3 and was always the black sheep!
They are close in age, about 14 months apart, while I was that accident 7 years later.
It surprised the hell out of me when I had had my first child, shortly after our dad died, to find out there was a bit of an argument going on with those 2, who had always been really close!
30 years later, well I speak to both. He would speak to her, but she considers him dead - it turned from an argument into a family feud, and I tried my hardest not to get drawn into it!!
So, I get on ok with my siblings, but they are quite another matter! ??
