Contd

This morning I walked in the sun
I was glad the rain had all gone
Spring is so charming
With sounds of farming
But plenty of work to be done

Summer is not too far away

A single life leaves me so free
Perhaps I will just let things be
I’ll wear what I like

Perhaps I will just let things be
I’ll wear what I like
In the woods I shall hike

Perhaps I will just let things be
I'll wear what I like
In the woods take a hike
I will do things just to please me

I think I will rescue a dog
who will run beside me when I jog

I think I will rescue a dog
Who’ll run beside me when I jog
He’ll chase next door’s cat

I think I will rescue a dog
Who’ll run beside me when I jog
He’ll chase next door’s cat
Who’s overly fat

I think I will rescue a dog
Who’ll run beside me when I jog
He’ll chase next door’s cat
Who’s overly fat,
Then lay down and sleep like a log.

To town on the bus I am hopping
Eat lunch in the square
Then off to buy gear
My bank account surely is dropping!

Do you celebrate Halloween?
Outside I arrange quite a scene
Spooks and goblins and ghosts

Do you celebrate Halloween?
Outside I arrange quite a scene
Spooks goblins and ghosts
With sweets from the hosts
And an alien dressed in green

We went for a walk in the park
It started to get quite dark
I saw something close
Thought it was a ghost
But was a dog that started to bark

My friend says I'm getting boring
When she talks to me, I’m snoring
So I snooze in my chair

My friend says I'm getting boring
When she talks to me, I’m snoring
So I snooze in my chair
She says it's unfair

My friend says I'm getting boring
When she talks to me I'm snoring
So I snooze in the chair
She says it's unfair
And talks on while I'm ignoring

She tells the same stories each day

I smile and nod away
And dream away time
At least I can rhyme

She tells the same stories each day
I smile and nod away
And dream away time
At least I can rhyme
Though the tales she tells just don't pay

Maybe she could write a good book
