drooping raspberries

Oh gloom it has started killing of branches of blackcurrant bush as well sad

It does kind of look as if something has zapped the base of a couple of canes - half a dozen really happy, 2 dying rapidly???????

I have a little clump of fruiting raspberry canes. SOme of them have just gone into a major wilt, while others looking perky? They are in a dry corner. Any ideas? I tried watering.
