Eight year old GS's ability to weed!

I find it highly amusing that my eight year old GS has an innate ability to recognise weeds, and my OH doesn't have a clue.

He'll learn - by the time he reaches adulthood, he will have mastered the same trick that your OH (and my own) uses. grin

Ah! My DH recognises weeds and will pull them out but does not always notice the plants he is standing on as he weeds! grin

Oh nanaej; on the rare [and getting rarer] occassions when I've ever asked the S.O. to do anything in the garden he just treads on anything that's in the way. Is it anything to do with them not having peripheral vision, I wonder?

Yes Tegan, mine doesn't seem to realise that he has big feet. Just because his toes are not on a plant it doesn't mean his heels are not!!
