Incredible Edible

I called at a shop in Todmorden last year, so got to see all the fruit and veg planted out on the streets, including a patch of globe artichokes by the bus terminus, veg growing in a churchyard, apple trees on waste land, and peas and beans climbing canes in a flower bed. Anyone can gather some food for themselves. What a fantastic idea.

Where I live Incredible Edible have been filling the town planters for a couple of years now. It's lovely to see all the vegetables growing although I've never seen anyone helping themselves.
In the summer, shops competed against each other with window boxes and tubs, it was really good.
