We too have a small bush of roses which is still in full bloom, they are quite small yellow flowers, not sure of the name, but they add a glow of sunshine first thing in the morning, because they catch the sun. WE too have fallen leaves everywhere, as fast as we sweep them up, there's another lot greeting us in the morning, a sharp frost will bring all down, I suspect.

I'm up to my neck in leaves, which are very pretty too at the moment, but my vase of roses gives me a real thrill every time I see them. It's so unexpected. flowers indeed

They sound gorgeous broomstick.
I have a couple of rose bushes also still in flower it just makes me feel warm inside, it's been such a good year for them.
The wind blew my plastic covered greenhouse over the other day; and today was the first opportunity to dismantle it. It is very torn in places and the frame is not holding it together very well any more, so I decided to remove everything inside and eventually with the help of my two pups (or hindrance I should say) managed to get it all tidied away into the back of the car for a journey to the tip tomorrow.

Hopefully we can still see our roses in flower for a little while longer, because even on a gloomy day, it can really raise our spirits! flowers

I've got a vase full of perfect roses I picked in the garden, really beautiful and lasting well in the house. I can't believe it, this time of year.
