A gardening book recommendation

Interestingly enough I did go on Amazon to read the reviews. There were only two, one positive and one negative.
But what I liked was that the author Charles Dowding had taken the time to reply to the poor review himself.

You could see if there are any negative reviews, aka, if you want a more balanced picture. That's what I tend to do. I've found it quite a useful, and successful, strategy. smile

Not read the book, though I might, it sounds interesting. I don't trust reviews so won't comment further.

I've just read the review and thought it was made for me. It's not that I've always done the procedures that are apparently unnecessary, but that I've never done them because I couldn't be bothered. Plants have flourished, plants have died. I blame the slugs - or the government.

I've just read this recommendation and am very tempted to buy the book, Gardening Myths and Misconceptions by Charles Dowding.
