Help please, I have been given three trays of trailing Pentunias, never grown them. Have looked up care and seems they need lots of sun, what hope if they only get full sun until 11.00am? Gardening in pots is rather difficult, how I miss my garden . Do I plant them or give them away?

I would put them in large pots and place them where they will get full morning sun. I put mine all over the place, they seem to do ok.x

Mine have always managed well in our front garden area where the sun is up until about mid-day I put them in hanging baskets and never have any problems some of the half wall pots may help you as they can just be fastened onto the walls at waist height for easy watering they are on offer at some of the £1 shops at moment depending on the size you can get pks of two. They do look delightful so best of luck to you.

They are pretty hardy, I have them in full sun and shaded areas.

Remember they will 'drop' so best in raised pots and they do, I find, have a tendency to attract white and green fly at some stage.

They are lovely and don't take a lot of looking after, so plant and enjoy the lovely colour they will bring you.

Thank you all. They were a gift from a lady in her nineties , she said ' I look forward to seeing them burst into colour ' hence my concern that I did my best with them
