I forgot my winter jasmine is covered in lovely yellow flowers too! Until last week our mountain ash was ablaze but a flock of fieldfares descended at the weekend.

I've got primroses out and several rose bushes still flowering, do hope is very early Spring (prob over-optimistic!) also watched blue tits going in and out of nesting box, surely that's far too early!

Spring? tchconfused I would like to see a hint of something that said spring was just around the corner but not very likely at the moment. It's soooo cold & snowing here in Scotland. Brrrrr....rrrr....

Nothing showing in the garden yet but seeing the word Spring has perked me up whitewave

I always buy some indoor bulbs to compensate for lack of flowers in the garden and enjoy watching them grow and bloom.

My Hellebores seem slow this year but I have a fence in the front garden that is covered in winter flowering Jasmine its bright yellow and beautiful.. my adjoining neighbour who trimmed said Jasmine back to my side of the fence in the Summer remarked how he wished he'd left it alone as his side is bare.. haha serves him right for interfering.grin

My Christmas roses are showing. Mil used to put them on the table at Christmas if she could so they always remind me of her!!

Saw some catkins today on our walk - about 1" long so waiting in the wings for early spring. Shall keep my eye on them.

The only colour in my garden is cream from winter clematis, which whilst not very showy is visited by loads of bumbles when the weather is OK, and the only other thing at the moment is winter iris which is a glorious shade of sky blue. Keep looking to see how the snowdrops are doing - about 11/2" above the ground at the moment.
