Mallow

Thanks starbird. Now I know that it will still flower next year I will chop it back. It is only on a piece of waste ground in the communal car park, but it irritates me!

I cut mine back last year at the end of flowering - could hardly wait as it had grown to 9' and was all over the place, and it has done the same again this year. As soon as that final flower has dropped off and there is nothing for the bees, it is going down to 3' even if it takes a saw to do it.
I have bought a shorter version which I've grown in a tub and may stick to those if this one dies.
