Today I went to the Mill House garden in Warwick. I can see why it was her favourite. It was magical, what a setting!
Anyone near enough, it's well worth a visit.

'Grow your own dope....Plant a man!' grin

I want that sign!

I hope there will be another series - It's been such fun!

I am enjoying it and enjoy gardening too. I love Miranda's daft sense of humour and her mother Dee, whilst being terribly upper class, knows her stuff and is genuinely curious and delighted by the gardens she visits. Pleasant viewing.

What a joy this programme is. The scenes with the Austrian 'Alan Titchmarsh' were a hoot.

Dee's father, Sir William Luce, was governor of Aden when were there in 1956/58. I went to a children's party at the residence but I don't think Dee would have been there because she is seven years older than me so was probably at boarding school in UK. Even if it was during the long school holiday I think there would have been more exciting things for her to do than play pass the parcel with a bunch of ten year olds. grin

I am enjoying this. Dee is so posh but lovely with it! It is a pity that there are only 3 programmes in the series.

This is one of the best programs about gardens. Neither Miranda or her mother, Dee, hog the limelight. The gardens are inspirational, great and small.
I love the way Miranda approaches her garden, as a novice. Such fun! grin

Starting next Monday.

Looking forward to this as it's about real gardens by a real gardener.

Miranda is narrating it which will add a light touchhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-4758186/Dee-Hart-Dyke-pleasures-communing-plants.html
