Bromeliad

Am I allowed to ask about a pot plant on a gardening forum?
I bought a lovely dark red small bromeliad for £3.39 in Aldi a couple of months ago. It is now quite a big bromeliad and going strong. I would like to know if and when to re-pot it as it is about to leap out of its pot. A very good bargain!

The RHS gardening website has all the info you need and more anno, sounds like a lovely plant.

I was given one once. We will draw a veil over that! I am disasterous with houseplants, but there were some lovely ones growing in our botanical gardens.

Well done OP! I bought a beautiful yellow/red pot plant but sadly was unable to stop it dying (too much water? too little?)

I had a supermarket one which lasted for ages. It stayed healthy but never grew enough to need re-potting. You must be treating it well.
I don't always remember to water my house plants, but when I did I filled up the sort of cups at the base of the leaves/petals as per the instructions.
