Bromeliad

I had a supermarket one which lasted for ages. It stayed healthy but never grew enough to need re-potting. You must be treating it well.
I don't always remember to water my house plants, but when I did I filled up the sort of cups at the base of the leaves/petals as per the instructions.

Well done OP! I bought a beautiful yellow/red pot plant but sadly was unable to stop it dying (too much water? too little?)

I was given one once. We will draw a veil over that! I am disasterous with houseplants, but there were some lovely ones growing in our botanical gardens.

I love them. You obviously have it in a really good environment!

No advice though, sorry.

The RHS gardening website has all the info you need and more anno, sounds like a lovely plant.
