Of course? I am busy feeding the very noisy baby starlings who are visiting with their parents for the mealy worms I put out.
The baby sparrows are fluttery and a lot quieter, the magpie parents are frantic with panic as their young seem to ignore their parents entirely and the seagulls are still sitting on eggs.
Could I make a special plea, spring is the time birds nest and frogs/toads spawn. There are young ‘things’ everywhere, so please curb your hedge trimming, pond clearing and tree chopping just for a little longer to let the young grow up!
