Definitely not. It will recover as soon as it rains.
The lovely new Thai bride of one of my neighbours is just learning how we garden in this country, but cannot be persuaded that she doesn't need to water grass, and borders containing little more than Forget-me-Nots, twice a day with a hosepipe!

I leave that kind of work to Tāwhirimātea , he seems to do quite a good job.

No - it's a waste of water

I'm with Lully

Definitely not, it’s certainly wasting water and grass recovers even after a drought.

No , grass takes care of itself. It would be a waste of water imo unless you are at Wimbledon or Lords or a posh golf course.

DH who is a gardener for other people wateres our lawn but only in particularly hot dry spells.
Certainly not on a weekly basis.

I rarely water my lawn but someone mentioned the other day that you should water lawns once a week to help with weed control.
